BİLGEHAN ENGİN / President

Born in Istanbul in 1974. He completed Dokuz Eylul University, Maritime Faculty, School of Maritime Business & Management’s bachelor programme in 1996.

Later in 2016, he attained St. Galler Business School’s International Senior Programme and accomplished Leadership, Advanced Finance and Strategy studies.

He started his business career in Arkas Shipping and Transport S.A in 1997. He founded his own freight forwarding business, Mira Transport Services Ltd., in 2000. Later in 2008, he established a joint venture company together with German Fr. Meyer’s Sohn (GmbH & Co.)

KG and undertook the role of General Manager. He carries on this position until present.

He joined UTIKAD in 2010 as a member. He actively participated in Working Groups Sea and Air since then. He became a Deputy Board Member 2021 and carried out the role of Regions Coordinator of Türkiye.

He later became a full Board Member and assigned the role of Vice President. He is a member of Disciplinary Board of IMEAK Chamber of Shipping and serves as the Vice President of Transportation and Logistics Council of Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.

He is married and father of 2 sons. He speaks English and French.

AYŞEM ULUSOY / Vice President

Ayşem Ulusoy, born in Istanbul in 1972, was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the General Assembly Meeting of UTIKAD held in September 2021.

After graduating from Bilkent University, Faculty of Humanities and Letters, Department of English Language and Literature in 1995, he started his career in the Combined Transport department of a logistics company.

He has been working as the General Manager of their family company ATC Grup International Transportation and Trade Limited Company since 2002.

Completing his psychodrama education, Ulusoy is also actively involved in sculpture.

Ayşem Ulusoy, who carries out her work as the Head of UTIKAD Women's Focus Group, also carries out the following duties.

Barış Dillioğlu was born in 1974 in Istanbul. After graduating from high school in Istanbul in 1991, he graduated from Istanbul University International Relations Department in 1995.

He started his professional working life at Gulf Agency Evergreen Line in 1994-2005. In 2005, he founded Kinay Transport and Logistics A.S. in partnership with the Kinay Family.

Barış Dillioğlu is both the partner and the General Manager of the company. is running. Kınay Tasimacilik serves the industry with 14 offices in Turkey, 5 offices abroad and nearly 300 employees.

Barış Dillioğlu, who assumed the duty of Member of the Board of Directors of UTIKAD in March 2019,

SERKAN EREN / Comptroller

Born in Istanbul in 1975, Serkan Eren graduated from Uludağ University, Department of Economics in 1999, and completed his master's degree at the University of Culture.

Eren, who worked in Fair Logistics in Türksped International Nakliyat A.Ş. in 1998-2001 and in management levels at DHL Worldwide Express Company in 2001-2010, at home and abroad, returned to the country. that Afterwards, he joined MNG Airlines and Transportation Inc. He has been working as the Ground Operations President since 2014.

Born in Istanbul in 1966, Arkın Obdan graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Economics in 1989.

In 1990, he started to work as a partner of the company in Obdan Sistem Customs Consultancy LTD. As the founding partner of A.Ş., he served on the Board of Directors. He currently continues his duties in companies.

Arkın Obdan, who is in the UTIKAD Customs and Warehouse Working Group, serves on the Trade Facilitation Coordination Committee representing UTIKAD.

He also took part in the Improvement of Customs Services Working Group within the scope of the 11th Development Plan preparations.

Çoban-Tur Turizm Ticaret ve Nakliyat A.Ş.

Born in 1971 in Ankara, S. Cumhur Erzurumluoğlu graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Economics in 1994.

In 1994, he started his career at the Ankara Branch of Çoban-Tur Turizm Tic. ve Nakliyat A.Ş. He worked as Customs Transactions, Sales Marketing, Regional Deputy Manager and Regional Manager, and since 20212, he has been working as Fleet and Logistics Director. Most recently, he served as the Head of Operations and he became a member of the Board at Çoban-Tur Turizm. Trade and Transportation Inc. as of September 2023.

He served as Vice President of UND Customs and Warehouse Working Group and is currently a member of it. He is also a member of Ro-Ro Working Group and CEMT and Transit Documents Working Group.

ESEN ÖZ TEKAYAK / Board Member

Borusan Lojistik Dağıtım Depolama Taşımacılık ve Ticaret A.Ş.

Born in 1977 in Adana, Esen Öz Tekayak graduated from Izmir 9 Eylül University and started her career at Ekol Logistics in 1998. In 2000, she assumed the management of Sales and Operations Departments at Borusan Lojistik Airline and Maritime Transportation Department.

As of 2018, he took part in the establishment and senior management of Borusan Asia office and continued his duty as Assistant General Manager of Air - Maritime Transportation and also as a member of the Executive Committee.

As of 2022, Esen Öz Tekayak took over the management of the International Road Department and Borusan GMBH Germany offices, and continues to serve as the Assistant General Manager of International Transportation and Member of the Executive Committee, and actively continues her projects on sustainability in the logistics industry and women in the logistics industry.

MURAT GÜMÜŞLÜOL / Board Member

Murat Gümüşlüol was born in Bolu in 1986. In 2006, he graduated from Trakya University Customs Management Department, from Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration in 2010, from UTIKIKAD-ITÜSEM FIATA Diploma Program in 2017 and from Koç University Executive Development Program in 2019.

He started his professional career at Enka Holding in Moscow, Russia. After 8 years of experience, he established Logitrans Logistics A.Ş. Kazakhstan Almaty office in 2012.
Since 2014, he has been working as Executive Board Member responsible for Sales and Business Development at Logitrans Logistics A.Ş. Istanbul head office.

Logitrans Lojistik A.Ş. is a logistics company with Turkish capital that has 18 offices in 12 countries, warehouse management in 4 countries and can operate all modes of transportation within its own structure. It serves with over 250 white-collar and 400 blue-collar employees in all its subsidiaries.

As of November 2023, Murat Gümüşlüol assumed the duty of UTİKAD Board Member. Besides he served as a member of International Freight Forwarders Association - CIS Geography Working Group, and as the President of MUSIAD - Overseas Organization Eurasia Diplomatic Relations.

Murat Gümüşlüol is married and has two daughters. He speaks Russian.

Born in Istanbul in 1968, Serdar Ayritman graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics, Bursa Uludag University in 1992, after graduating from Private Kalamis High School, Istanbul. Serdar Ayritman, who went to California, USA to continue his graduate studies, has an MBA degree from Lincoln University - San Francisco.

He joined the CATONI Group of Companies in 1995. He is the shareholder and CEO of CATONİ Group, which currently provides regional agency and logistics network services with 15 offices in 6 countries.

He has been in various working groups of UTIKAD and still carries out the following duties;

Born in 1980 in Istanbul, Tolgahan Bulut graduated from Uludağ University, Department of Import Export Foreign Trade in 2001. In 2014, he completed his Business education at American University of Beirut and in 2017, he completed his Exponential Technology education at Singularity University in San Francisco. He started his career at United Parcel Service in 2004, working in sales processes. In 2010, he started his career as Business Development Manager at Aramex International Hava Kargo ve Kurye A.Ş. and in 2011 he became Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Country General Manager.

YÜKSEL KAHRAMAN / Board Member

Yüksel Kahraman was born in Istanbul in 1980. In 2003, he graduated from Izmir Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Maritime Studies, Department of Maritime Business and Management.

He started his professional career in 2004 at Gezairi Transport, a Lebanese based company providing freight forwarding services in Istanbul. Between 2007 and 2013, he worked at Hamburg Süd Shipping, a Germany-based company engaged in regular line transportation.

Since 2013, he has been the General Manager of Origin Logistics Taş. A.Ş., which he co-founded in 2013. Origin Logistics is mainly engaged in container transportation, project transportation and airline transportation with 7 offices and approximately 130 employees in Turkey.

In 2021 Yüksel Kahraman assumed the duty of Universities Focus Group Coordinator as a member of UTIKAD Board of Directors. In addition he is;

• A member of Service Exporters Association - Logistics Committee.
• An instructor of "Documentation and Container in Maritime Transportation" in FIATA Diploma Training.
• The Chairman of UTIKAD Seaway Working Group.

Born in Istanbul in 1990, Kaan Aydın graduated from Istanbul German High School in 2008 and completed his undergraduate studies in Industrial Engineering at Koç University. He further advanced his academic background by successfully completing executive programs at the prestigious London School of Economics (LSE).

During his university years, Kaan Aydın gained invaluable experience through an internship at a project shipping line in Bremen, Germany, where he developed a strong foundation in international logistics and project cargo management.

He began his professional career at BATI Innovative Logistics in 2010, taking on roles in operations, sales, project management, international sales, and isotank departments. His extensive experience and leadership skills led to his appointment as General Manager in 2024, where he now oversees the company's global operations.

Under his leadership, BATI Innovative Logistics has expanded its reach with 14 offices in Turkey and 3 international subsidiaries, establishing a strong presence in the global logistics sector. Kaan Aydın is committed to driving the company forward with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.

In 2010, he became a member of UTIKAD, actively contributing to various industry groups. His leadership philosophy is rooted in principles such as ownership, commitment to high standards, and action-oriented strategies, which have become central to the company culture.

Kaan Aydın is married and the proud father of a son. Fluent in English and German, he values a balance between family and professional life, continually striving to learn and grow both personally and professionally.
