Equality for Women at Work Certificate

UTIKAD has been the first non-governmental organization that received the Equality for Women At Work Certificate prepared in cooperation with the Sustainability Academy and Intertek.

UTIKAD adopts the " Principles of Equality for Women at Work" consisting of ensuring gender equality, preventing discrimination based on gender and creating a social response to it, ensuring safe working condition, and establishing mechanisms to prevent violence and harassment, informing members and stakeholders in line with this policy, and promoting participation of all stakeholders in the solution, and carries out efforts to ensure equal rights and opportunities for women at work.

UTİKAD was audited in the areas of Management System, Recruitment and Employment, Occupational Health and Safety, Working Hours, Supply Chain, and Social Impact during the certification process and earned the right to receive certification in 2017 due to the importance it places on its female employees. Following a successful audit, the certification was renewed in 2019, 2021 and 2023. UTİKAD underwent another audit in 2025 and was recertified based on its work and progress during the intervening period.
